Grand Mercure Phuket

I recently stayed at The Grand Mercure Phuket in Patong and I thought I would share some of my photos from this little getaway. I had the lucky opportunity to stay at the private villa suite for three nights.

One thing that stood-out the most about this hotel was the location and the customer service. The location was so close to everything in Phuket and the staff were so friendly and attentive. During my stay, I mostly ate at the hotel's restaurant called Bubbles. I recommend the 'All You Can Eat' BBQ Buffet for dinner as it has an array of various types of seafood, meats and fresh salad.

One of the most important things for me when staying at a hotel is a free breakfast. I don't want to be worrying about what I'm going to eat for breakfast. Luckily, this hotel has you covered for breakfast with another 'All You Can Eat' breakfast buffet. There is a mixture of both Western and Asian options. My only negative feedback is that I wish they used a different style of Bacon. If you come from England or Australia, you will understand how important it is too have good Bacon for breakfast.

As you can see from the photos, the rooms are beautiful, clean and private. The bathroom was my favourite part of the room with an amazing bath perfect to unwind from outside distractions. The hotel has many different rooms available that can accommodate to most budgets. The hotel has various facilities including a gym, outdoor swimming pool, snooker table and spa.

Overall, The Grand Mercure is situated in the perfect location and is so close to everything. I did spend most of my time recuperating from the stress of Bangkok which mean't a lot of sleeping, sun-baking and eating. It was a great escape from reality and would definitely stay there again.
